A couple months after coming home from the hospital, I often found myself awake and alone long after The Craftsman had hit the sack. One night while mindlessly flipping through trashy late-night television, I came across this delightfully quirky documentary- "The Natural History of the Chicken," and before I realized what was even happening, I had watched the whole thing! Weird that a show about birds can be that captivating, right? Probably because it falls somewhere in between "Best in Show" and "Fast Food Nation" two of my favorites. Moral of the story? PBS is almost always better than Letterman.
You can watch the rest of the documentary here.
