Lucinda Williams newest album, West, was relased just over a week ago, so I'm hoping she comes through Salt Lake City on tour. Her concerts are great, if not better than her albums. I'm not sure I can say that about many artists.

Lucinda!
If you haven't already discovered the genius of Lucinda Williams, you are missing out... BIG TIME! Lucinda falls into the musical genre I like to call "dirty country." Some people have voices like wine, hers is like whiskey. Her songs are poetic and deep, yer simple and easy to relate to. I am also continually impressed with her guitarist Doug Pettibone, who pulls fantastic guitar solos out of nowhere.
