While everyone else crowded into stuffy chain stores, I spent my "Black Friday" out in the fresh open air. I was seeing, smelling, and breathing crumpled, yet colorful automobiles the entire day. Surprisingly, it was quite refreshing. How did you spend yours?
Oh yeah, John hit the jackpot.

Wow - you are one patient woman! Way to give a female perspective to a male-dominated world. Great pics - Ma PS - I spent my day studying and pruning the wisteria vine over the front porch.
I spent my day after in the ceramics studio throwing a set of bowls. Also atypical, but VERY therapeutic. These shot are gorgeous. I love the brown one the best.
I actually spent my morning in the chain stores fighting over external hard drives and such. My 13 year old niece really wanted to experience black friday shopping and who am I to deny her?
John got the steering column out of that car (in the picture of him). It was a '65 Buick A-body, which means the column is the same for his 442. He also got the front and rear parking lights from a '65 Olds Cutlass. The guy at this junkyard sold all of those for 50 bucks! What a cool deal. Plus, at Dwight's, I found a '68 Mopar indicator light assembly (for the Model T roadster). WooHoo! And Jenna came with us, making it fun as well as "balanced"...i.e. not overkill!

By the way, the photo of John is fantastic - his smile - his honest happiness is almost contagious.

:-) This is WAY cool photography, Jenna!
What a woman. I was at Target getting the back of my ankles rammed with carts because I apparantly I'm too slow! (That's the southern girl in me.)
