My Kinda Dancing

Granted this video is absolutely 70's, Earl Scruggs and his banjo pickin' is timeless. That aside, I adore the couple who shamelessly get up and buck dance. Yes, it's called buck dancing... using your legs and feet for the sweet stuff while keeping your upper body stiff. I happen to think it's fantastic.



Even more fantastic however is contra dancing. If you're ever in Asheville, make sure to attend the Old Farmer's Ball at Warren Wilson College. Let's just say I'm still speechless after five years. Hands down, one of the most exhilarating nights of my life.
