Have We Met Before?

My first semester of college is sometimes hazy. Nearly six years ago, I was just out of high school and still waiting for my first kiss. However, I do remember my Botany class and a friendship that was solid from the beginning.
With a husband and three pre-teen children, Heidi and I couldn't have been more different, but it was our desire to learn that allowed us to be friends in the first place. We've taken turns listening to each other rave about great professors, groan about math, and comfort, laugh, and cry about everything else that happens in the midst of school- what we call life. Heidi is also graduating this year, the same year her beautiful daughter graduates from high school. This is a shout-out to her. Congratulations my dear friend.

Jenna, Can you put this in your writing portfolio? I think these tender words about your friendship with Heidi sum up you, your experience, your expectations, and your aspirations. Beautiful - Ma
