So there's this public television show on every Saturday night called "Rare Visions and Roadside Revelations," and I love it. These three geezers have been traveling across the country searching for all forms and variations of art, mostly by the common folk. Since they haven't passed through Utah, yet, it's crucial that I begin the list of Utah's very own claim-to-fame, lesser known, places you're gonna tell all your out-of-town friends to visit. First stop: Head of the World's Largest Dog! Located in Huntsville, UT (anyone know where that is?), at the Shooting Star Saloon, this dog once weighed 298 lbs and is fun to pose next to for photographs.
Next stop: World's Largest Watermelon! You guessed it, located in Green River, UT, the watermelon occasionally gets a new coat of paint and is the highlight of Watermelon Days. (It's made out of wood, you guys knew that right?)
Next up: The Metaphor Tree! Located near the Bonneville Salt Flats, the tree stands as a stark reminder of the 80's, yet beautiful in its own right.
Last stop for today: Dino-ville! Located around the town of Vernal, UT are dinosaurs of all varieties, shapes, colors, and sizes. Worth the trip! So, here's my plea: what else makes the Beehive State famous, quirky, and well worth the trip? Ever heard of Gravity Hill? How about the haunted headstone in the Springville Cemetary? And the secret fresh-water spring in Moab? Anything you've got, I'd love to hear about it!

Come go with me sometime. love ya,the cool aunt
Lets go travel!
Let's get a school bus (I have a friend who drives one) and have a field trip - I bet we can find many obscure eating places as well.
Love ya, Ma
We should make a field trip of this - rent a bus, stop at Idle Isle, Peach City, Blue Bird, Maddox for meals. We could be a traveling "Road Less Traveled." Love ya, Ma
Is that really the head of the worlds largest dog????? If it is...GROSS!!!!!!
love,
Clara
I thought the haunted headstone was in the Provo Cemetary. Is there one in good ol' Springville, too?
