Friday Eats

Alright folks, here's the pick for this week's restaurant. I've driven by Saigon Noodle House in Provo so many times over the years- looks like a dump on the outside, and the inside a little bit too... but holy smokes, the food was surprisingly tasty (a tad on the "greasy-spoon" side), and cheap! The Craftsman and I ate there for $12- total! Apparently other people know about this place because by the time we left, every seat was filled, which made me happy. I like it when Mom and Pop establishments get business. So, give it a try- let me know what you think.

What's the weekend without a night out? Every Friday from here on out you can expect to read a restaurant review- who wants to eat at Chili's every date night? Not me! So, here's the beginning of my little attempt to help you spice it up.

Just to set the record straight, I am a food snob. Ketchup is disgusting, La Casita is WAY overrated, and a good curry is heaven. The other day I went to India Palace in Provo during their lunch buffet- best Indian food buffet I've been to. The food was hot, fresh, and tasty- seemed authentic. The ideal setting if it's your first time eating Indian food- you can try a little of everything without paying a lot, I think it was about 9 dollars without a drink or tip. I could have done without the sandalwood incense burning and smelling all hippish by the food, and there was a line when I went for seconds- so get there early. I'd love to hear your reviews!
